Mahjong brings ladies together — and that’s why I teach it
It all started simply, with one goal: to create community with the ladies in my neighborhood and master mahjong together. From there I grew Mastering Mahjong — through the complexity of the Charleston, the celebration of each triumphant “Mahjong!”, and a shared love of the game. Along the way I became a Certified Instructor with Oh My Mahjong — though my favorite credential is still a full table on a Monday night.
The Houston Mahjong Club is the natural extension of Mastering Mahjong — a club built on the belief that evenings are best spent around a table together. Whether you’ve never touched a tile or you declare “Mahjong!” in your sleep, there’s a place for you here — in class, in league play, or with your best girlfriends at a party of your own.
